those with a video monitor. .
where did you put it in the nursery? DH set ours up today and mounted it on the wall right above the crib, right in the middle. Its a bit of an eyesore with the wires and everything. Does anyone have a better place that worked for them? I was thinking the corner of the room ceiling but that might be too far....

A little corner shelf by the foot end of the crib, just a few inches higher than the crib, but maybe 4-5 inches past it.

That's exactly where we have ours. Yes, it's a bit of an eyesore but it gives us the best view of DS and that's the most important thing.

We have a tall lingerie chest that faces crib so we put it on top of that. Which is perfect because you don't see wires at all.

ours is on top of the window frame and the cord runs around the window - the window is close to the crib so it almost directly above
make sure the cord is far enough away from the crib or tight to the wall because it can be a choking hazard as the baby gets older and reaches for everything

DH stuck ours literally behind the back of the crib itself, not mounted on anything. It was fine when he was smaller because he didn't move around much. Now that he's bigger and moves everywhere, somtimes I'll just see a hand or a foot. But I can hear him and I can see if he's up because when he's up, he's pacing the crib -- cant miss that!

thank you for all the ideas! DH didnt even think about when the baby would be big enough to reach at it since its literally right over the back rail of the crib lol
