Anyone do IVF for DC #2?
My ER is tomorrow morning, and they just told me I can't lift anything heavy--including my 2 year old DS!--for 2 weeks. How the heck am I going to do that??? I have to lift him into the car, the bed, and for all the boo boos and meltdowns....
Any advice? Thanks, ladies!

Re: Anyone do IVF for DC #2?
I felt horrible after my retrieval and definitely did not lift my DC. I didn't wait 2 weeks though. As soon as I felt better I lifted DC. After my transfer, I waited 48 hours before lifting DC. I really don't think its so bad because we are so used to lifting them and I think our bodies can handle it, I just wouldn't go too overboard KWIM?

I did, but my DD is older (4) so doesn't need to be picked up that often.
Just do your best to limit carrying your DS as much as possible, but of course, you have to do what you have to do! Don't let it stress you out.

Re: Anyone do IVF for DC #2?
My DD is 3 and my Retrieval is today. There was no way I could lift her, hoping tomorrow is better. I was nauseaus and throwing up until around 4pm and I'm still in a ton of pain and its difficult to walk. My DH and a friend took care of DD all day.
Good Luck at your retrieval tomorrow!!
