Fever and body aches after transfer

Has anyone ever experienced a fever and body aches after their transfer? I had my transfer yesterday and that's when I started feeling horrible. Could it be a side effect of stopping the medrol? Nurse said it's not the PIO last cycle and was probably sick but now same thing agin. Spoke to another nurse this am and she said she's never heard of this after transfer.

Couldnit be my body rejecting embryos?

I've never heard of that. Is it possible that you're just getting sick?

It would def be possible and I'd consider that if this hadn't happened before but this happened my last cycle too. Same exact thing and ended with bfn. I also just finish doxycycline. I don't know. No one knows :(

after one transfer i got a terrrrrible stomach flu ish thing for 2 days and couldnt take anything

Thanks. Feeling better today, at least no fever. I have a painful baseball size welt from the progesterone shots on one side and the nurse said that's not normal, small knots maybe but not the size it is. Think maybe this mass caused the fever and aches. Who knows..best she can guess.

Just watch for fever and infection at the PIO site. If it's red or it feels warm, don't inject and call the DR.
