You know.. I don't think I have.. but I bet it would be great! If you try it, let me know how it is!

Maybe I'll give it a whirl next time I make it - but it will have to be brown or wild rice because Rob is becoming a bigger and bigger freak about 'clean' food.Chat Icon

ours would be whole grain rice, DH can't have white rice.

I'll let you know, I'm going to make next week

Re: rojerono

it was delicious and SO easy! Although do you add seasonings to it? I think I should've added some more salt maybe (which I did on my own plate)

I ended up having DS & I eating it over egg noodles and DH over brown rice.

THANKS for posting this awhile back!

I don't know which version of the recipe you followed .. sometimes I am really lame on the details when I type stuff up fast! I use a good bit of fresh garlic at the start. I correct the seasoning after everything is in - meat, veg, tomato. I use salt, pepper and sometimes a bit of red pepper. I also will often throw in chunks of mozzarella - it lends some salt / briney flavor to it. It isn't a really 'spicy' meal - which is probably why the boys love it so much!Chat Icon
