cleaning a dryer/slow dryer?
we just moved. place comes with a washer/dryer. we are renting, appliances not ours. the dryer takes at least an hour, if not more, to dry things. towels are definitly over an hour. its an estate/whirpool dryer. front load, gas dryer. the dryer is gettign hot inside, its jsut not drying things. i cleaned the lint trap, other ideas? someone told me you can clean the vent behind? the washer/dryer are in a little closet, there is no room for me ot get in- i's have the pull the whole thing out, and i cant't disconnect hte hose until i do that- the washer/dryer are side by side and right up against the side walls. i dont want ot rip the hose or break it. will i do that? should i buy one of the dryer cleaning kits? or- you think the dreyr is just dying? like i said, it is getting hot though.

Re: cleaning a dryer/slow dryer?
we had that problem when we first installed our new dryer. It turned out the vent hose was making too many turns and not venting properly. Once we shorted its path to the outside, our dryer worked perfectly.
