White Chair Railing/Dark Baby Furniture?

White Chair Railing/Dark Baby Furniture?
Okay... thanks to the ladies on here, I believe I have chosen the final color for the baby's room! 
My next design question is...
IF we decide to go with white wainscotting, for the bottom half (which I'd have to convince my DH to do), will it go with DARK wood furniture (our furniture is attached)? We're on a time limit (furniture coming Sunday), so he'd rather just do the one color in the room.
My other option is a sports themed, peel and stick border around the center of the room, with the same wall color from ceiling to floor. We would be able to place that after the furniture comes. Image Attachment(s):

It looks great.....we just got the babys furniture delivered...and my DH put white wainscotting on the bottom and light blue on the top and I thnk it looks great!!!

My SIL has the white wainscotting and dark furniture for my nieces room and it looks great!

our nursery is going to be beige walls with white trim and very dark furniture!
