Good Quality Futon?
I saw a futon on the pottery barn website for $1100. I'm not sure if there would be a difference between one that was purchased from them and one from somewhere less expensive.
Does anyone have a good quality, comfy futon? It has to be this style:

I have a futon that looks like a couch... Its called convert-a-couch and i bought it through walmart... very comfy

What i've found in shopping for futons is that the mattress is the really crucial part of it. You can get a decent quality frame anywhere, but if the mattress isn't thick enough, it won't matter
We looked at a few futon stores around and saw many different styles, and then you can customize the mattress to be either the standard mattress or upgrade it to a thicker version. I'd definitely recommend upgrading the mattress no matter where you get it (if you're planning on using it as a bed at any point)

I bought mine at Overstock.com . They had a good selection of futons, and the one we got is pretty comfortable and was reasonably priced.

Great! Glad I could help out. For us, it's mainly a man cave couch but good to know we have the extra bed if needed
