Good Greek catering in Commack?
I'm having a medium-sized party in a couple of weeks. Quite a few of the guests are vegetarians, so I figured Greek food would be a great idea--pita, hummus, spinach pie, greek salad, rice or potatoes, and souvlaki for the meat-eaters. There are so many Greek restaurants in my area (Commack/East Northport) and I've tried most of them, but none of them stand out as superior.
Has anyone had a good experience catering from a Greek restaurant in the area?

Never been but there was a Greek place on 25 in the Macy's/Target center - right by Commack Road.

I actually travel up to Commack (from Sayville) for the Taverna. They are fabulous - even if the old guy is super grumpy!

I second them - the food is really good! even my 88 year old german grandmother liked the food (she had never had greek before).

Re: Good Greek catering in Commack?
LOL, I've been to every place you guys mentioned. We weren't too happy with Greek Village the last few times we went. I love the food at Acropolis, but it's far. The Greek Taverna was the one I was seriously considering anyway, so that's probably who I'll go with. I think all Greek restaurant/diner owners are grumpy--it's in the dna.
Thanks for the recs!
