Embryo stuck in tube!
Ok so I am currently doing my 2nd round of IVF and I had my transfer yesterday - 2 embryos. When they were finishing up, the embryologist says to wait because one got stuck on the tube and they need to try again!?!? Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is this a bad thing? I am totally freaking out....

Re: Embryo stuck in tube!
I've heard of this happening many times and to be honest, I've also heard that the "sticky" ones result in +++ pregnancies more often. I'm not sure if that's just an old wive's tale. But it's not a bad thing, as long as they made sure it ended up in the right place!

It's normal. Not a bad thing. i was told it's extra sticky-which can't hurt.

Well thanks for putting a positive spin on it! I just thought the extra manipulation could be damaging to the process, but hey, a little extra stickiness might be just what I need.

Re: Embryo stuck in tube!
Yes it happens. That why in my practice they ALWAYS check the catheter when they're done.
