Google is my enemy
I need to stop googling infertility issues and statistics and everything else fertility related. I'm trying to cheer myself up and I'm making myself upset! Can someone please figure out how to firewall google from my home computer ( and my iPhone and my work computer) I'm already going into this next IVF cycle nervous and negative, the last thing I need is statistics to back up my concerns!
Sorry - just venting. Is it possible that people just make websites to talk about the bad stuff?

"bad stuff" is what makes the news!!
Honestly you CAN'T drive yourself crazy with stats, etc... The only journey that matters is your own.
I looked up stats ALLLLLLLLLLLL DAYYYYYYYY LONGGGGGGGGGG when I was pregnant with the triplets and had the subchorionic hematoma. I was so relieved to see that 1% of pregnancies are actually lost from it .. Well... I fell in that 1%!! So, it just goes to show you can't read into ANYTHING!!!

UGHHHHH. I know. You can't rely on stats anyway, because even that one percent happens to some people ( )
I just keep on trying to get myself excited for this again - and I keep on thinking its just going to play out the same as last time - poor response to meds, poor fertilization report, mean joke on me (Chemical). Sigh.
I know that other girls on here have been through SO much more than me. . ..but I'm just in such a funk about the whole process. . .. .

I totally get that Honestly I keep saying it's like the longer you're in this, the less exciting and more numb the whole process gets. You think IVF is the easy quick fix, and when you see it's not, it's just a huge letdown.
I look at all the ladies here as motivation.. the ones who had multiple losses and went on to have healthy pregnancies/babies... the ones who never had a bfp but never gave up and then went on to have their babies too ... I just have to believe that will be me someday, otherwise this journey was all for nothing!!

You're totally right. I should be looking at all the other girls on here as motivation.
I think it makes it worse that I went out with one of my many super-pregnant friends tonight. We aren't that close yet and she doesn't know about our IF issues... and kept asking when we were going to have a baby I told her "we're trying" and left it at that. She told me "Don't worry, not everyone gets pregnant the first month like us - give it a couple of months" Maybe the heat is just making me cranky tonight LOL!
