Preoccupied with baby names

I know I have a good six months before I NEED a name but I can't stop thinking of them. Anyone else like this?

naturally i think thats the first thing everyone does because its exciting. besides you want to know what the little bean inside you is going to be called eventually.

i know i started from day 1, and changed my mind soooooo many times.

DH and I are obsessed with this and we are far from even thinking about TTC!

I think we are pretty much set on a girl's name but we keep arguing about a boy's name. It seems that we both like the same names but in different order. Unfortunately, the order he likes is the one that has his father's name first. Granted the name was also the first name of both of our paternal grandfathers but I don't want our child to be named after FIL. I don't want to offend my dad and besides, I don't want my child to have the same first and last name as someone else in the family (especially since IL's moved back to Poland and all of their mail from their US bank accounts comes to us. I don't want this kid to have the credit trouble that my dad went through because he and my bro have the same name and my brother screwed up with credit cards and made a big mess for him and dad)


Anybody like the name Roman for a boy? I am so random today.

i didn't find names exciting at all. more of a headache. we didn't decide until about two weeks ago what our top two boys/girls names are (having the baby in two days!). we probably just overthink it- always changing our minds. it just seems that there is so much to consider when coming up with a name.

I haven't really been preoccupied. We have a few names picked out, but it's more of a pain thinking about it. It's so hard picking a name!

I am 22 weeks and we started to get more serious about it recently. But, I spout out names and he doesn't like them - and then the ones he likes, I don't always like. So far, we have narrowed it down (only a little) but I am sure that DH will change his mind again be next week.....

Boys: Raymond IV, Joshua
Girls: Leigha, Lacey

Any other suggestions? I am open for anything!

I also thought of names from day 1 -- and didn't end up going with what I had said all my life that I would do.

It was a really HARD decision!

we decided right before we found out

Hannah Grace (which is what we are having)

or

Jack William when we have a
