Do these chairs work in this room?

I just picked up these chairs and I am not sure if they work in this room.

They have a lead pattern and are shades of brown, beige and blue.

I know I need to change my valances but I am having trouble finding a pattern that works.

I was thinking a stripe with blue and brown might work.

I also need to pick up a table for between the chairs. ( the boxes are just temp)

Any suggestions on curtains and a table?

To the left of the chairs is a fireplace. At the moment it is blocked by the new sink and toilet for my bathroom.

are you set on doing a pattern for the window? I would do drapes in a linen color or a crisp off white

Do you think I should put panels on both sides and have a valance or should I keep the style the same as now?
