Not baby related but since I'm on here the most...
Can you give me your opinions on room colors? I posted this on the Home board a while back, but didn't get much response. We are having to prime EVERYTHING in the living room. We are also going to be replacing the living room blinds with white one's. All the molding will be painted white and for the walls what do you think would look better with our furniture. Do you think a tan/beige color or a gray color would look better? The only wall that will be painted a different color will be the wall with the fireplace. I was thinking a nice dark gray color. We will also be painting the brass cover on the fireplace to a black color (matte finish of course). What would look better with our furniture? The only thing in our house that is painted already is the hallway and that's just your standard wall and trim color. Any ideas? I need to come up with the colors this weekend because it will be primed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Oh... the shelves were already taken down in the corner. Thanks! Image Attachment(s):

If you're going to go with a dark gray on the fireplace then I would go with a lighter version of that on the walls. It would give the room a very modern feel. By the way, your husky is beautiful. I have one too, but she's black and white. How is your dog with your son? I'm hoping mine will be ok, but she's been an "only child" for 8 years and I'm just nervous she's going to be really jealous.

Thanks for your opinion!!!
We have another husky too. She's black and white with 2 different color eyes. The husky in the picture is a male with 2 blue eyes. They do great with my son. When we first brought him home all they did was sniff him over and over. We thought the female would be the "mom/protector" over our son because she's older than the male, but we were wrong. The male did nothing but lay by our son. It was really cute. He wouldn't let her near him for a few days. She's a fat, lazy girl and he's a hyper, clingy puppy! I didn't notice any jealousy with the dogs at all. I was surprised. I was worried about the same thing. I would bring something home that smells like the baby before you come home with the baby so she can sniff it. Then when you are home, and the baby is sleeping, I would give the dog a lot of attention so she doesn't feel left out. Now I'm waiting to see how they do with the 2nd one! My son is 2.5 yrs old and drives the dogs nuts! I'm going to bring the new baby home and they're probably going to run and hide!

I also think a blue would be nice or maybe a mavuie gray color. I think if you do gray it might look a little to drab but this is coming from a person whose DH had a gray apartment when we met and every room in the apartment was grey including paint, furniture and carpeting. Or if you those colors might be to bold for you then I would go with a tanish beigh.
