Anyone use Stony Brook Gyn/ob?
do they deliever at stony brook? can you request that hospital if they deliver at multiple hospitals?
Also who do you see? anyone you like there?

I see Dr. O'Keefe and love it there! I heard great things about Dr. Porte also. Yeah I believe they only deliver at Stony Brook...

Yes, they are very good and easy to call up and work with for any questions/ changes. They have late hours on a night or 2 during the week, but no weekends. Im very happy there! My dr. always acts so excited to see me and hes always so happy

I go there. Dr. Porte delivered DS#1 and will hopefully deliver DS#2 (he might be on vacation). I also have seen Dr. O'Keefe and Dr. welischar...also have had great expereiences with them.
The practice overall is great...I've spoken to Debbie the NP also and she is great as well. They're flexible when I need to change appt.'s and always always answer my questions or get back to me with answers.
Because I'm "high" risk Dr. Porte is EXTREMELY thorough with his plan for my pregnancy. he was like this with DS #1 and he is like this now for DS#2.
I can't say enough nice things about this practice.

I go to this practice and LOVE Dr O'Keefe. He is very nice and probably one of the best Dr's I have ever been to.
They only deliver at Stony Brook.

Glad to hear so many people like them. I have my first Appt. with them in two weeks. I'm seeing Dr. Porte. I really wanted to deliver at Stony Brook this time, and my old practice doesn't deliver there.

I also see Dr O'Keefe. I've been going there since I started going to a gyno. My regular gyno is another doctor in the office who no longer does deliveries so I nervous to switch. But Dr O'Keefe has been amazing!! All the nurses there are so nice, and the sono tech lady is great as well! I know you had a question about hours. I usually go to the office in Setuaket, but I know they are also in Sayville office on select days. You'll be happy with your decision!
