but do you ever skip a day with the progesterone supps? No flames please :)

I did last month because it was making me beastly, but I wasnt worried because my progesterone the month before was really high. According to the doc, it's more of a precaution for me. I'm not sure if that was the smartest thing, since we think I had a chemical, but we didnt connect it to any progesterone issues.

I was thinking of skipping the supps 12 and 13 DPO so I dont have to wait too long to get AF (I know, I'm thinking a bit negatively here). I also know that most of you probably wouldnt take the chance, I'm just wondering if anyone's ever skipped a day or two. TIA

that's a good question. i dont know if they ever told me, if they did i probably forgot. I would assume that I stop when I get a BFN on 14 DPO

Re: I know its not recommended- re progest.supps

The one month I begged dr b to let me stop the prog so I could get af so I could just start my next cycle bc I swore I was out, I ended up pg. Just food for thought xo

Keep this in mind.....

When you are pregnant, you need to take them until around 9wks!!

I would just use them the whole 2ww at this point. It's really not that long in the grand scheme of things Chat Icon

grr #2

I know- its just that I think it delays AF by 2 days and I'm having timing anxiety for next month! Obviously if I get a BFP, I'd start using them again.

Ok I'll ask him on Saturday and will lean towards using them till day 14
thanks girls Chat Icon

I always used progesterone the whole way and in a BFN cycle, I always got AF on beta day!! I know it's different for everyone, but staying on progesterone does not mean AF is guaranteed to be delayed!! Chat Icon Chat Icon
