Need help with pool
I just bought a house with an above ground pool and I have no idea how to take care of it or how to use any of the equipment. I'm in Nassau. Can anyone recommend a pool maintenance company that can clean up my pool and teach me how to use the equipment? The water has turned green!

seasons of long island - they were great at cleaning our pool and showing us how to use it the first summer we got our house and there prices are pretty good too for cleaning

we use seasons of LI too, but I believe that they are only for Huntington and Smithtown - but I could be wrong.
they are great.
To get rid of the green, you only need to shock it at night...by the next morning it will clear up a lot...and the next day even more.
You can get a lot of information from any pool store as well.

I'm in Merrick. It looks like Seasons of LI is in Smithtown. We added shock to the pool but i think there's something wrong with the filter. The pump basket is full of leaves and when I treid to take the cover off water starting pouring out of it. I really need someone to show me how to use the pumpa nd the filter.
