i forget... can you take mucinex when you're pregnant?

When I had pneumonia they told me I could...
the ingredient in it is an expectorant, Guaifenesin, and it is safe.
It is the same ingredient that is in plain Robitussion (without DM)
Just make sure that you get straight up Mucinex, and not one with any DM

I actually remember reading somewhere that guaifenesin is the one and only drug that is 100% completely safe for pregnant and nursing women. So yes, go for it! Feel better!
