On a mission to find the best......
disco fries (french fries with melted cheese (cheddar/mozz/whichever) and gravy!
I was thinking about this last night as I was tossing and turning in bed (yes, I am pregnant!)
Growing up, I had the best ones at Fresh Pond Diner in Ridgewood, Queens (but they closed down a while ago) and I just can't seem to find really, really good ones anymore!
Anyone else like these and have they tried good ones lately????

I don't eat meat, so I don't eat gravy, but everyone I know LOVES the disco fries at Cross Bay Diner.
I personally love their mozzarella waffle fries! No one can beat those.

There's a diner Upstate near where I grow up that I think makes the best ones.
It's called the Colonial in Middletown, NY.

LOL I thought the same thing...but I actually ordered from a few diners on LI and I didn't really like the way they did it.

Unfortunately I have no recomendations for you but OMG How I miss Fresh Pond Diner. The absolute best!mmmmm .. they had the best gravy there and the bacon pieces in it..OMG HEAVEN..I miss that diner =(

YES! I miss that diner too! They def. had the best gravy...that's why I miss their disco fries so much!!!!!!!!

there was a diner on the corner where I used to live in manhattan. I think it was on the corner of 1st and 81st. Gracie Mews diner. Best Disco fries!!
