We lived in stonegate (middle island). They accepted dogs and had a dog run.

I found that the cheaper and better option was to look at people renting co-ops. We lived in Fairfield Commons in N. Babylon and we currently live in Village in the Woods in Selden. We also looked at condo rentals but they were more expensive and most didnt include water (we only pay electric).
