Can You Ladies GIve Me The 411 on ParaBell?

I saw a few of you respond to a post that its a great restaurant in Patchogue. I am in Medford and don't know of it. What type of food, etc. Would love details. My DH and I were going to do a lunch date on Friday, would this be a good place for lunch?

It's great! It used to be a tiny place but they moved to a bigger space near the theater. The food is delicious, all kinds of options and great specials. I haven't been for lunch but I'm sure it's great. If you're in Medford you might know the Landmark from back in the day and their awesome chicken fingers which they have on their menu, so good! Oh, and the short ribs are amazing!

It's so good! I love the tuna tartar pizza and the duck quesadilla for appetizers. The iceberg wedge is so great (bacon and blue cheese dressing). The crispy half chicken is to die for. Their burger is also pretty well known and loved. They also have excellent sangria. I have never had anything there that I didn't love.

I love PeraBell; it is one of my favorites. I can't imagine anyone not being able to find something they'd enjoy on the menu.

I didn't love this restaurant to be honest. I think it is better for lunch rather than dinner though! Here is what I thought was good/bad:

The spinach-cheese dip was really good!! The Caesar salad though, in my own opinion, was disgusting. I love Caesar salad and have it almost everywhere I go. This was probably the worst I have ever had. DH liked his burger but he also is well-versed in burgers and thought it was just average. Some people had chicken dishes that looked delicious. I had a glass of wine that was soooo good and I wish I knew ahead of time that they had sangria. I ordered this watermelon drink that everyone seemed to be having there and it was disgusting, it tasted like pure sugar and one of those drinks that comes out of a paper package. The service was mediocre. Our waitress was very rushed and provided us with wrong information a few times. But other waitresses/staff seemed to be good.
