please help
first, no i'm not PG. but y'all be the first to know.
i have a question, my sister is PG, due on 12-25. Realistically, how soon should i start to plan the shower? most likely, my mom and i will split the cost, but i want to get an idea as to when to start. and she will be a mom-zilla so i know it has to be perfect. i know this b/c i already planned a bridal shower for her and i know what to expect.
we are looking at october, if that helps.

Since its almost Aug. I would look into booking a place since she is particular

My mom just booked a place for my shower. I am due late November and having the shower Sept 17th.
I wouldn't wait to long to book a place esp as you get closer to the holidays - you can always send the invites out later.

The sooner the better if she's that bad. I recommend sending invites out early, but not too early. Maybe 6 weeks before the shower date. I'm having issues with my shower and stressing a little bit because the invites went out only 4 weeks before. I think I'm becoming a Mom-zilla myself!

Most of the showers I have been to have been two months before the due date. I would start planning now so you can get the type of place she wants. I am due a week later and am suggesting that my mom and sister get on it soon.

Plan for a late October show. Start by figuring out how many people will be invited then begin to look at places. You may want to talk to your mom about budget. I would send invites out first thing in Sept- 6-8 weeks prior.
