The nightmare is almost over!
My lawyer called tonight to say that my dumb buyer agreed on our settlement offer! We were going to litigate if she didn't agree - this was our second offer. We are getting about 80 percent of her DP next week! It wasn't a huge DP so it ended up being about the same as what we would've gotten had this gone to court after legal fees!!
And, even after I asked to pay, my lawyer said he would sit with me free for an hour or so to go over the case with my landlord, who is not returning my security. I hope I don't have to go to small claims court but one day at a time.
The big hurdle has been jumped over! :
