Holy Heartburn
So I'm just about 25 weeks & have started to have terrible acid reflux. It's like my throat is on fire it is so uncomfortable.
Ive never had this before, any pregnancy safe tips to help?

I live on Tums. They help me. I know others don't think they are strong enough but I've been okay. When it gets really bad, I use liquid Maalox.

TUMS can constipate, so I am careful with them.
I find chewing gum to be very helpful.

Oh man, I feel your pain.. I am 30 weeks today and I have had terrible heart burn since I was about 23 weeks!
I take the chewable Tums during the day when it acts up and I take one Pepcid every night before I go to sleep because now I am waking up around 3am with heart burn! 
Also, if you drink a glass of milk, it helps!!!
I hope you feel better!

I usually take Tums when it happens, but it has been so bad the last 2 days that I took Pepcid AC.
Hope you feel better soon

Food wise I found ice cream to be helpful, also avocados are very soothing. Sounds strange but it worked for me. If you like guacamole, nows the time to have some!

i'm 25w and having same problem. my ob recommended pepcid complete. working well so far. man this sucks!

I only have a little bit of it here and there so I chew a tums and I'm good to go, but a co-worker swears by celery juice. just put it in a blender or juicer and drink the juice. its supposed to work great

i just use tums... pepcid didnt help me...
just wanted to give u becuase heartburn suckssss..... its gotten to the point where it actually wakes me up like i want to vomit ugh... good luck!
