Only you girls would understand
I have PCOS. After years of not have my period regularly, in fact Ive gone a year without getting anything I decided to go see Dr. B because we will begin TTC in Oct. and I wanted to be ahead of the game. He did bloodwork and saw that Im not producing any eggs.
He put me on Metformin he said sometimes that helps the ovulation process. Ive been on it for about 5 months. I also have been taking Provera every few months to bring my period on.
Well, two weeks ago on the weekend I felt cramps but thought nothing of it and then last Tuesday out of nowhere I got my period! All on my own, no Provera needed. Hoping this is a sign of good things to come!
Im still bleeding and have cramps but Im not complaining. Im so grateful its here :)
Thanks for listening .. nobody else would understand why Im so excited that I got my period. haha

I don't have PCOS but have PCOS like ovaries (if that makes any sense). I do ovulate but it takes a month or so. Just knowing that you're going to ovulate is exciting let alone the start of a whole new cycle with AF!
