This really stinks...
I honestly feel like I'm fighting some type of depression or something being on bedrest. I'm emotional all the time. I just feel DOWN - and then I think of the fact that my DS will be here in a few weeks and instead of making me feel better, it makes me feel guilty that I'm still so down despite our baby joining us in a few weeks, God wants.
To add insult to injury, poor DH is out there working in 90 degree heat... like HARD labor. He leaves at 5am All day, I can't wait for him to come home. When he does, he's utterly exhausted and just miserable. I know he tries to pep up for me a little knowing that I've been alone all day, but he's exhausted and has no energy. Last night, he went to bed at 7pm. I went to bed at the same time as him and it messed up my sleep all night long. I was up half the night. He just called - exhausted and beat again - and said it's going to be another early night for him.  So, now I'll be alone all day and night again.
I feel so bad for him working so hard in this heat. AND I feel down myself just feeling so ALONE all day.
Sorry... just had to get that out.

 I totally know how you feel! (with the exception of being on bedrest). I'm a substitute teacher so I haven't worked in awhile and being 38 weeks it's physically hard for me to do much of anything, so I find myself with a lot of downtime. It can get to you!

Maybe make arrangements for a girlfriend to come over tomorrow for lunch. Just to keep you company and for someone to talk to.

I totally understand! My husband has been working nights for the past 4 weeks. He gets home around 6am and then sleeps almost the whole next day. I feel lonely and sad without him around. It's so hard! But it will get better. It doesn't help with the nasty heat. That wipes them out!

My parents could come, but I inevitably end up snapping at my mom (she's a worrier and overreacts to everything lately and stresses me out).
And at the same time I'm complaining about being lonely, I secretly don't want to see anyone and have to act all "happy". I know... weird dynamic. Plus, all of my friends work at least 20 minutes from where I live, so popping over for lunch just isn't feasible.
I have 2 doctors' appointments anyway, so at least I'll be out of the house a bit.
