anyone had a reaction to pio shots?

so i know i am out..having beta tomorrow but big arse bfns.

heres the thing. i do 2mls pio and switch assss cheeks each night. there is always a bit of tenderness and redness but now my one cheek is red and itchy and hivey. i wont have to do the shots anymore after tomorrow night...until next cycle that is...but what the heck and....crinone is not enough for me so i need the shots....what can i do...and how come all of a sudden i am having this issue? i used it for 7 weeks straight before!

ive had itchiness at the injection site too. at one point it was so bad that DH put neosporin and bandaids on it - but that only made it worse. just stay away from the area for a week or so and it should get better. and DONT SCRATCH!! its hard but it makes it worse if you scratch.

It has been happening to me too. I can't stand it. I try not to itch and to forget about it but it's hard.

I will be doing PIO for the first time this cycle, but my nurse told me that they use two types of PIO.(there is also a synthetic one that they don't prescribe) One is in sesame oil and the other is in olive oil. She said they use the sesame oil one and some people have had allergic reactions so they switch them. Maybe you can find out which one you are on and ask doctor to switch it next cycle? Hope you fell better.
