Southwest ??

If you have a credit for Southwest, can someone else still use it? I checked the site and dont see if it is still ok. I have a credit that I know I prob wont be able to use so wanted to see if my friend wanted it. Has anyone done this recently?

Yes, someone else can use it, I do it all the time, but I think you have to make the arrangements for them.

I would call SW and clarify.

I'm pretty sure that they changed that policy in January that only the ticket holder can use the credit.

I would definitely call to find out!

Here's what it says on the "Cancel Air Reservation" section of the website:

Unused travel funds may only be applied toward the purchase of future travel for the individual named on the ticket.
