I think I'm getting this one (Graco Windsor):

I have this one on my 1st floor, it's my lifesaver to not have to climb stairs to change her ot put her down for a nap
I think we're going to use it in our bedroom in the beginning. Then I plan on leaving it in the living room. I was afraid the pattern (the toile part) was too girly (we don't know what we're having.) But I love it so I'm getting it anyway.
Honestly, I don't even use the hood part with the toile part, it gets in the way, and i don't take the pNp outside. We chose that one cause I don't plan on buying all new gear if the next baby is a boy. All of our stuff is unisex

Good point about the toile part! I didn't even think of that. Thanks! I feel better.

Re: Your pack and play
This is the one we gat three years ago, but in pooh bear. we loved it, we set our little guy in the top during his first weeks home and it was very nice. I was recovering from a c-section so i did not have to bend alot. I recommend the ones like this with the bassinet on top. Image Attachment(s):
