Where would YOU go?
So a follow up visit to my ortho surgeon this week has thrown my plans for a trip to the carirbbean or Florida out the window for now as my fibula is still broken So I am wearing a boot up to my knee and will have to wear it for about 6 weeks. We really, really, really, really need a family vacation. Can you please throw me some ideas.
Here are the "rules":
Not a lot of water based activities seen as I will be in a boot all day every day - I can do trips to the beach but no swimming etc.
Two kids - 5 and 2.
My birthday - so needs to be a bit special if possible.
Looking for relaxing but with something to do for the kids
Not opposed to flying somewhere
Throwing around the idea of marthas vineyard, PA, Canada!! -maybe coastal area...
Can you ladies PLEASE help me with some ideas.

I hear Cape May is gorgeous. Not too far, coastal, lots of small town fun stuff to do.

What about Lake George? Serene, relaxing and lake activities.
Ocean City, Virginia Beach or Myrtle Beach all have boardwalks and hotels on them.

Lake George is a great place for families. We loved Martha's Vineyard as well!
