Showers & Gift Opening
So...I posted about a week or so ago how I wanted to change my bedding set but someone already purchased the first one.
Well now both bedding sets were purchased and I will be getting them both at the 2nd shower.
The 2nd shower is given by family and it is a mid-afternoon Co-ed BBQ.
I feel really bad about wanting to change the set, which puts me in an ackward situation.
Is there anyway to get around opening gifts at the shower?????
Is it rude not to open gifts there?
My thought is that since the Men could care less, I might be able to get away with it.
Any suggestions??!?!?!?!?!?!

cant u just act like u wanted 2 sets so u can rotate them? (depending on who bought them for you)

I agree. A friend of mine had a co-ed bbq for her shower and opened everything. The men didn't care, but the women did and couldn't wait for her to open gifts.

I would do this as well. As a matter of fact, I am thinking of getting two sets.

thats what my mom said too. i just feel really bad. im not good at acting lol.
my mom also said since i want to have another one right away and wont get another shower its good to have 2 sets.
