Is it to early for me to start washing LO's clothes, bedding, blankets, etc.?
I'm so OCD when it comes to planning things and I want her room to be 100% done but I'm not sure if it's too early to start washing her clothes, bedding, blankets, etc?! Right now her bed is just the mattress in the crib, bedding is still in the package...all her clothes from newborn to 3 mos is in size order just laying on her dressers and changing table...everything else is already in the closet because I'm not washing anything over 3 mos yet. My house is always so neat and her room not being 100% and still out of order is driving me nuts. Is it too early to start doing all that?
ETA: Oh yea I'm 36 weeks!

i don't think so because as of 37 weeks baby is officially full term and can come anytime...it's close enough that they will still be fresh. but i wouldn't wash ALL of it.
I only washed NB and 0-3, and bedding, seat fabrics etc. bc you have to see how baby grows with the seasons...some clothes may not be season appropriate by the time he/she fits them...plus you'll want them to be fresh anyway and anything more than 3+ months i'd end up rewashing so save yourself time and detergent

Exactly, I'm keeping everything over 3 mos in her closet until she's ready to wear them!

I'm 36 weeks and I starting washing everything last week and then put a sheet over the big stuff (car seat, bouncer, swing) and the clothes I put in DD's closet. I am happy to be prepared even though it is a little early.

Ok I just took 1 load of out of the dryer and upstairs to start putting away...just 3 more loads left! 4 loads of laundry usually doesn't take long to fold, hang up and put away...but 4 loads of itty bitty clothes, socks, bibs, blankets, burp cloths, towels, etc. is going to take forever

I don't think it's too early!
I washed all her sheets, blankets, bibs, & burp cloths, as well as all the 0-3 month clothes, and any newborn clothes that I couldn't return.
It felt so good to put everything away -- have fun
