Help me choose a wall color
I have chocolate brown couches and everything else will be dark colored wood. No browns or taupes please

I like that color, but was thinking of something like that for the dining room. This is so difficult. Can you do a reddish for a dining room with out it looking to xmasy?

Yes! My sister has a red dining room and it looks very nice. Not Christmas-y at all!

Yes! My sister has a red dining room and it looks very nice. Not Christmas-y at all!
you TOTALLY can! Just make sure its not a bright primary red! There are TONS of beautiful non-christmasy reds on the market!

Okay here is the issue we have a GIANT picture window, we will have the white painted fireplace, now what color cushion should I do for the window, as well as curatins. I def want a sheer white as the base of the curtains, but I want some sort of colored curtain over that (possibly a suede for texture purposes). This is all for the dining room, which I have to find a red for.

Okay here is the issue we have a GIANT picture window, we will have the white painted fireplace, now what color cushion should I do for the window, as well as curatins. I def want a sheer white as the base of the curtains, but I want some sort of colored curtain over that (possibly a suede for texture purposes). This is all for the dining room, which I have to find a red for.
Im confused, is it for the living room or dining room that you need curtains and a window cushion for?

Lol I knew I was being a confusing PITA! Lol!! The dining room has a fireplace in it (fireplace will be white), and a window seat that I need to get a cushion for. Now I would like sheer white curtains behind a colored curtain, now if the dining room is red what color curtains and cushion should I do? I was thinking a taupe...to soften it a little.

As of now no, but we will be opening up a wall and adding french doors we can close off the space, but open it up if we need too.

you could do a gold.....I have a pair of unopened gold curtains if you want them.....they are a true gold, not a yellow gold. They are these, they are faux silk, 84" and kind of have a crinkled texture to them. I thought they were going to be a yellow gold and they werent and I never got around to returning them. If you want them you can just have them.
they are more this color IRL.

damn youre quick! I just posted a more accurate representation of the gold. Hell, if you can use them for a different room you can just have them.
