Is it just me......
or did anyone else find themselves getting upset today? I had a great day with my father, brothers and nieces, but I found myself thinking about our infertility alot today. Seeing everyone with their children was just hard for me. I feel horrible to even be envious, but just wish my husband could have been celebrating as well today. Hoping next year he will be.

Last Fathers Day was when we announced to a lot of the family I was pregnant with my first baby since I was around 10wks and we figured it was a sure thing.
This year one cousins was there with her 1yr old and another is 9 months pregnant.
Good times 
I really hope next Fathers Day is better!!

yup, both DH and i have been sad all day. he keeps referring to today as his "non father's day" and told me he never thought we'd get to 2011 and not have a child. i feel horrible for him. he keeps my spirits up everyday and to see him so down just kills me. plus, facebook has nearly sent me over the edge today with all the women thanking their husbands for being a great daddy.  i'm happy for all my friends that have children but it's definitely been a "why us" day in this house.
you are definitely not alone

Yup... the first thing I did was wish DH a happy Father's day... b/c IMO he's a father- even if our kids never made it here---they still existed. Our cats jumped on the bed and meowed in his face to wake him up, so I told him that was their way of saying Happy Father's day! 
I live on the North Fork and we went to the Strawberry Festival, where dads get to ride all the rides free today. Our nephew tried to take DH on a ride, but he wasn't given a bracelet since he wasn't a dad, and we didn't have tickets, so he couldn't go.
I found it a very difficult day today, as I know my DH did as well. We def held hands, hugged and told eachother how much we love eachother more than we normally do today. And yet again I find myself hoping that somehow, maybe next year....

I felt it today...especially when dhS brother accidentally wished him a happy fathers day. I felt so bad for him.

I was more upset on mother's Day. I thought about it being fathrs day a few times and all, but wasnt as upset. I was also awaiting my beta and thinking I was having a chemical on mother's day so I was really upset. I dont think DH worries as much as me. Plus he worked all day and I didn't even see him.
