Back pain and restlessness

I've had back pain all day today (like period cramps, but in my back) and I'm just so restless. I can't sleep or get comfortable. could labor be starting???? i don't remember this the last time....

ETA: I am 38 weeks....

I am 34 weeks and I have this too! I have had pain issues back and rib since January but cramping only recently. I go to the doctor Monday so I am going to ask him what is going on. I just pace my house because I cant sit, lay down or sleep. So uncomfortable and painful. I have been getting leg cramps at night as well. i read that drinking A LOT of water should help so I tried that today but I still feel the same. I hope you feel better!!!!!!!!!!

K I hope this is it for you! I had that restless feeling the whole day before my water broke with M. I was also really lethargic but restless if that makes sense. The back pain could be something. I dont know..I just hope something happens soon for you!!!

Thanks everyone! looks like it was a false alarm. i am feeling much better today. the back pain is gone.... and i don't feel so restless. we'll see. . . . :)
