If you have a window in your bathtub
Do you have a window treatment on the window? We have the frosted windows, but you can still see inside. especially if the light it on.
Weve had the cheesy blinds in there for a while, but are redoing the bath and wanted to upgrade the window treatment. Do they make waterproof window treatments?

Re: If you have a window in your bathtub
We have a pretty curtain that you can't see through. Its made for a shower so its similar material to a shower curtain, but not vinyl. The fabric ones. I have no idea what's its made of. It holds up nicely and I wash it every now and then.
I found this vinyl window curtain

Yes. And no frosted glass. It's only about 12" high, it's a slider window. It faces the back of the house, which backs up to a wooded area, no neighbors, so I don't worry that anyone can see in. Besides, it's too high up to see anything!

Re: If you have a window in your bathtub
I got these window films in Home Depot for both bathrooms. You cut them to fit the window and put them on. One looks like stained glass and the other like etched, frosted glass. They look great, like they were professionally done. I think there run about $30.

we're in a similar situation and we considered removing the windows altogether but it was going to feel too enclosed.
I dont really want to drill holes in the new tile, and someone recco'd the films pp have mentioned. I am leaning towards this option.
Can the films be removed or are they permanent?

Re: If you have a window in your bathtub
Our window is literally body height. Im just worried about those frosted applicators, you can still see our silouette
Maybe we will buy those frosted applicators, and turn the light on and go in the yard to see.

Can you have the window made smaller or raised? or removed entirely?

Re: If you have a window in your bathtub
We have plantation shutters but our bathtub is separate from our shower... I don't know how well they'd hold up with the moisture.

Re: If you have a window in your bathtub
We have these:
We bought white ones with white walls. I just painted the bathroom a blue color and now they are grey! They are sooooo dirty I have to replace them. I was thinking about getting white faux wood blinds so I can filter how much light I want.

Re: If you have a window in your bathtub
I got vinyl decals to look like etched glass for my full length sidelights on either side of my front door.
I ordered from this website and the product was seriously amazing.
The website is cheezy, and I actually had to call the owners house (I think) with my credit card to pay, but I LOVE the product they sent me. You can customize the design you want & also tell them to make it more opaque so you don't see anything through it.
This is the website:

Re: If you have a window in your bathtub
I have a neutral colored vinyl window curtain for the window in the downstairs bathroom. Upstairs, the window is really high up on the wall and we don't have anything covering it.
