Electrical wires near the house

We had an inspection done last night on a house we love and really want.

The inspector showed us that there is an electrical wire that is too close to a window on the top floor. He said it's recommended that there be 3 feet of clearance between wires and windows that open. He said we should probably have an electrician look at it to see what it would take to move it. The reason it would need to be moved is because a child or someone could stick their hand out the window and grab it. We don't have children yet so I don't see this as a big issue right now.

My FH is a nervous nellie, however, and wants to have it looked at before we decide anything.

I am so nervous about losing this house. We were involved in a bidding war so I know there are other offers they could go with if we annoy the homeowners with issues. They are also in a rush to get to contract because of a job transfer and I don't want this to hold up the process.

Any advice?

If it's something that is required you won't get the clear to close. If it's a recommendation you can talk to the seller about it and discuss getting it fixed. If it's a bother to you, you can offer to pay for part of it.
