Question for Petite Girls
Do any of you wear Maxi dresses...they are starting to grow on me, but normally I look better in short dresses because i'm only 5 feet.
And if you do wear them, any recommendations on where to buy? I need something without spagettti straps (i have boobs and can't do a strapless).

I actually JUST bought a maxi dress from Strawberry. It's nothing special, just black and grey striped but it's cute and it fits well for ONCE. Usually they are all very long on me and look frumpy.

im 5'4 so not exactly petite but my legs are short
i buy cheapo ones - racerback style (so i can wear my racer back bra) at target and forever 21- and then i get them hemmed professionally

I look like a grandma in them, I am petite but also apple shape, I have longer legs and short torso, I look ridic in them, I'm 5'1.
If I find a maxi dress I love, I chop it short no matter what is in style. My legs are the cutest thing on me, and you better believe if I can, I wont hide them! 
I've gotten to know my seamstress very well 
I almost wanted to chop my wedding dress short

I love maxi dresses and I'm only 5'1. I'm actually looking at some online right now. My favorite one is from BCBG, so check them out. There are also a TON on shopbop, alll diff styles.

I just bought a few cute ones in Daffy's, of all places. I an not a fan of that store normally but they had a very good selection of summer dresses from different makers and I as able to fine two that fit me right and didn't swallow me whole!

I am 5'3 and just get them hemmed. They look the same because have them keep it long just not 12" too long. I bought a few from old navy and macys junior department has a bunch right now
