dh is from Huntington.
I asked and he said in his opinion- education is better in S Huntington but sports are stronger in Huntington.

another agree here.
but sports would be a plus in Huntington. i believe they were left an estate that is set aside to just pay for sports - so they will never lose sports in a budget.

I did my student teaching in Huntington and it was a rough school. I wouldn't buy in the district. I don't know anything about South Huntington though.

I grew up in SHUFSD! It was fine and my niece is in that district now. Huntington is DEF worse, always has been.
My BFFs husband teaches in Huntington SD and the stories...
If you want to keep on looking, Harborfields is really good...as is Half Hollow ($$$$$$$)
