AQUA water customers - backflow prevention?
We just got a letter from AQUA saying we have to pay to get our backflow prevention device tested. They gave a list of 'suggested providers'. I've never had to do this before and will call around for a price, but just for those who have done it before --- how much does this cost? who do you use that's trustworthy? TIA!!

i hate when we get that letter! we use tender lawn care and i think it was about $50. like we don't pay enough for the water!

DH's Uncle does this, Neptune Irrigation in Wantagh. I'm not sure how much he costs though. My mom has gotten that letter for the last 2 years and still hasn't had it done. Not that you shouldn't do it, but don't stress too much!

Check with the company who winterizes your sprinklers. My landscaper installed and services our system and can do the backflow testing for us.
