What should we do for dinner tonight????
Ok TOTALLY unimportant, but I'm very indecisive right now, lol.
I made the mistake of telling SIL that DH and I have no plans tonight....so of course now she wants to get together for dinner  I suggested she come over and we bbq, that way we can save money, just be casual and relax. She wants to go out to Bertucci's - which is where we ALWAYS go when we have dinner with her. Don't get me wrong, I love Bertucci's, but we just had pizza on Wednesday, and I know DH will end up picking up the whole tab b/c SIL is broke. DH says we can do whatever I want.
We probably won't be eating until around 8:30.....thoughts? BBQ at home or go to Bertucci's????

Personally I'd rather have a BBQ at home. It saves money and I think its just more fun and relaxed. Maybe bribe her with her favorite drink lol

BBQ!!!
we try so hard not to get "forced" into eating out too often since it gets so $$$. But honestly I just love BBQing with good company, good food and good drinks!!!

It's gorgeous out.
Why waste the $$$$ and the night sitting in a restaurant?
You could also make pizza yourself or do it on the grill!
Get a bottle of wine too and then you don't have to worry about driving home.

Ummm yea so SIL came up with every excuse in the book to not come over....."it's supposed to rain, are you sure you want to BBQ?". "you're tired I don't want you to have to entertain". "I don't want to drive 30 minutes tonight" (meanwhile Bertucci's is 25 min from her).
Needless to say, when I wouldn't back down, she canceled.

It look like someone just wanted to eat in a restaurant without paying the bill. Next time she suggest going out invite her again for a BBQ I bet you are going to start saving money
