those who already have dc...
I am scared to death that my ds, who will be 2.5 years old when my new lo is born, is not going to handle this well. My ds is spoiled rotten, and I like it that way. I work 15 hours a week so i am home with him all the time. We have a very special, very close relationship. i am scared for so many different reasons. Is there enough love for 2? I dont mean that in a "im gonna be a neglectful mom" way, its a serious question. i dont want my ds to be jealous or bitter about his new sibling. please tell me it is easier then I am making it out to be. This keeps me up at night bc i love my ds so much and i dont want to lose what we have,.

Re: those who already have dc...
I remember my brother asking my mother how he could possibly love a child as much as he loves his DS (while his wife was pg with their daughter) and my mom just says, you don't share the love, your heart just gets that much bigger. Your relationship with your son with your son won't change, you will just have a different relationship with your new DC. Or so I've heard. I know its scary, I feel the same way as you, I have a DS right now and pg with #2, but knowing all I've heard about this, I feel reassured that it will be fine!
