Ladies who go to fire Island frequently
A couple of questions for you....
Are there any limits as to what you can bring on the Ferry.... Will I be able to bring a bag and a cooler?
If I were to buy beer on the island...is it going to be RIDICULOUSLY overpriced?
Is there a place to get breakfast/Bagels?

what part of fire island? yes u can bring a bag and a cooler. Yes beer or coolers will be ridiculously overpriced. I dk as far as breakfast because I dk where u r going. If anything u can pack bagels. I know there are places but some places have fewer options then others. I would say bring the booze n buy the sandwich.

I agree with the PP. Bring the beer with you. It is pretty overpriced there. If it's a giant PITA to do that, then just buy it there. I'm trying to remember but I think it's like $10 more than you would pay here (roughly).
Which town are you going to? Most towns have delis where you can get egg sandwiches. If you will be in OB, we like Rachel's for sit down breakfast.

Sooo...i'm not really sure what town I will be in but we are taking the bayshore ferry...so where ever that drops me off...thats where i'll be!   Thanks for the help ladies b/c I'm a little lost!

Here is a link to the ferry rate information. link They do not always collect the extra fee for big wagons. To me the prices on FI seem like Manhattan prices but some people complain that they are higher than that. I second Rachel's for breakfast if you are in OB, Corneiile or even Seaview (the same place but it's an easy walk from any of these places) but on some weekend mornings you have to wait forever for a table at Rachel's. We always have cereal and milk in the house but someone usually goes to town for takeout egg sandwiches for the group.
