We just put an offer in on a house!!! There was one offer on the table and another one coming in today!!! HOLY CR@P.. Didn't think things would happen this fast!
Got a phone call earlier that they accepted out offer!!!! WooHoo... I know that things can change and they can get a better offer, but we are that much closer now.. Now we need an inspector...

We ended up pulling out. We figured out that there was too much we wanted that it didn't have and it would cost way too much to have it done..Back to house hunting...

We ended up pulling out. We figured out that there was too much we wanted that it didn't have and it would cost way too much to have it done..Back to house hunting...
It happens, it actually happened to me recently. After house hunting on/off for 2 years we saw this house and fell in love, offer was accepted, we did inspection and after inspection me and my DH had this weird unsettling feeling that it was not the house for us. We wanted to get the hell out of our apt that we rushed into it. I wish we had that feeling before we paid for the engineer but its better than losing hundreds of thousands of dollars. A few weeks later we saw a house and we are in contract and hopefully closing soon.
Good Luck, you will find something!

Thank you...That was the same feeling we had... I made the call to the REA the day the inspection was suppose to be done. Even the engineer was very sympathetic and told me that I will know when we find the right one...Most of the inside of the house was great. The outside was the problem.. Only could fit one car in the driveway, major concrete work needed to be done...

Bummer - I actually drove by the house yesterday and looked at the back yard - If you bought the house and put a garage back there - you would not have any yard

There are a bunch of homes in the area for sale - There is one on the corner of Grey and sunrise lane - Its a 5 bedroom - 2 bathroom with a garage - Needs work but its double dormered - I think there asking $270k

DOUBLE dormered asking 270k? Where is this listing as I dont see it on MLS?
Geeez... if I had money to burn i'd purchase another house for investment. Maybe after my renovations are done on my current place i'll get back into the RE market.
