IUI girls come in! Ovridel question
I went today for my first monitoring appt today. the PA said I had a lot of follies for an unmedicated cycle. I had 3 on my right side and 2 on my left. She said if she had to guess, id O from the right.
The Dr prescribed Ovridel. She said I dont have to do it but it will help time everything well. In the research I've done, it seems the chance of IUI being successful is much higher with the injection so I guess ill give it a shot (no pun inended  )
Anyway, tell me the truth... how bad is the shot?

the shot is nothing! you will barely feel it go in and you shouldn't have any side effects. good luck!

I don't even feel it at all! No bpinch, no burn, nothing! Seriously. My biggest concern when doing it it not dropping the glass vile and breaking it.

i'm the biggest baby ever and can honestly say the ovidrel is no biggie. the needle is tiny, you won't even feel it!

i didn't do IUI but did the Ovidrel shot. It's nothing! I did it to myself...didn't ice or anything and it is just a tiny pinch. I could barely feel it!

The shot itself is so easy! It's afterwards that's worse. I always get a big red spot and then it turns black and blue....hurts too! But the shot itself....piece of cake!!!!

I thought I was going to be able to do the first shot myself but made DH do it because I turned into a chicken. I felt nothing....just a little bit a bleeding after. I had no choice but to do the second one myself and it was nothing....very quick and painless

Not bad at all. I couldn't do it myself (I hate needles) so DH did my trigger shots for me!

I just iced the area for like 10 mins before ANY shot I gave myself.. and it's totally not an issue after that
