Need a rec for sugar free cookies
My uncle who lives in NC recently had heart sugery. I would like to send him a get well gift and was thinking of sending him sugar free goodies, since he is a diabetic.
Does anyone have someone to recommend? A bakery near Massapequa or a vendor? I'm also open to other suggestions as well. TIA!

I don't know about the vendors here but for store bought Murray's are pretty good. There is no sweetner aftertaste and they have a great variety.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of sending him something a little more homemade (just don't want to do it myself.) I don't want to send him something that he can go to the store and buy himself.

DH is diabetic and I've sent him cookies from Carolina Cookies ... he loved them - said they were probably the best sugar free cookies he's ever had ...

Definitely!!! Someone recommended them months back so I sent them to my mom...(the regular ones) and she said they were amazing. I've heard nothing but great things about the sugar free ones as well. Give them a try!

My dad loves the Sf cookies from Francesca's or Francesco's in Bethpage. It's over by Grumman. Sorry, I can't remember which street it's on.
