how do you soak off shellac?

I don't want to have to go to the salon...how can i do this myself at home?

soak cottonballs in nail polish remover.
Put the cottonball on the nail bed and wrap your finger tip in tin foil.
Let it sit for 2 mins.
Take them off and the shellac should come off. You may need to put the cotton back on some nails for an additional min.

When they do it at the salon they use the cuticle push back tool to scrape the excess off.
