Spanish Side Dishes
I'm making a roasted chicken for a dinner party tomorrow and using a portuguese/spicy flavoring.
any ideas for sides? Thinking spanish type of flavors.

I def. agree with spanish rice, you can also do spanish potatoes which is like thinly sliced and then baked like chips. you can do sangria for a drink. you can also make peas and carrots in a spanish seasoning mix that you put on the chicken.

tortilla espanola
potatas bravas - spicy potatoes
peppers in garlic
asparagus in lemon
manchego and apples
artichokes in garlic
saffron rice
you could also do meat side dishes/tapas like
albondigas (meatballs cooked in wine sauce with bread)
sliced chorizo
jamon serrano and manchego
