Need some suggestions
We purchased a new brown leather living room set for the new house. I love leather, but it usually makes the room feel so cold.
What color should/could I put on the walls to warm it up? I don't really want to do beige, I would prefer something else.
Also, what else can I add to the room to help warm it up? Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the room. But it's basically a blank canvas right now.
Open to all suggestions.
TIA
Pictures would be wonderful

That sounds nice. Any paint names you want to throw at me?

Re: Need some suggestions
I really like Weston Flax (Benjamin Moore). I have that in my family room with brown furniture.
My friend used BM Nantucket Gray (a greenish/gray color) in her den, and she has brown leather furniture. I thought it would be too dark - - I have that paint color in my office and I love it -- but it actually looked amazing! It looked a lot lighter in a bigger room.
If that's too dark, maybe a lighter green or even a light blue? I am selling a co-op right now that has light blue walls and brown leather furniture in the living room, and I've gotten GREAT feedback on the decor of the apartment and how it shows in general. If you want to see pics of the blue/brown scheme, check out www.494southoceanave.com and click on the photo gallery.
I know blues and greens aren't "warm" colors, but I think the contrast with dark brown looks so great in most homes.

Re: Need some suggestions
we have brown leather and our walls are a terra cotta type color.... I believe its one shade darker than BM San Carlos Tan... we have that one in the adjoining foyer/hall! I would also consider a nice golden/mustard like yellow!

Love greens! But theres already 2 rooms in the house in shades of green. Maybe 3 if I decide to paint our bedroom. So I wanted to stay away from that. Otherwise, I probably would've used it.
