Anyone eat at Sugar in Carle Place

One of my friends lives near there and we went there for 'dinner' a while back. We ordered mostly appetizers and while everything tasted good, it was tiny (more so than most appetizers). We had no clue how small everything would be so it was hysterical when they brought a dip out for 4 women in a shot glass  . I also remember them being very weird with the seating. The place was pretty much empty and my friend asked for a booth and it was like a big fiasco and they wouldn't let us sit there. It reminded me of that scene in Meet the Parents where the airline lady is only calling rows 8 and above.... .
But I digress...appetizers are good but miniscule. Maybe their dinner portions are better

See the menu shows eveyrthing for sharing, if that's the case then I'm going to have to get just three appetizers just for myself, I don't do well with sharing...Only child syndrome

its good, i would go back. the apps arent very big and they are pricey

The food and drinks were very good but it was way too expensive IMO. I wouldn't go back.

I just went Wednesday night. We were the only one's there lol!! We really enjoyed the food. You have to order the Kobe beef sliders and the pork tacos! We also ordered the french onion poppers and chicken quesadillas. Dh had a cheesesteak slider that he really liked too! They have a great drink menu (maybe go when you are not preggers lol)!!!!

the only reason why I want to go there is for the french onion poppers...I'm obssesed with the french onion soup dumplings at stanton social and I'm hoping it'll be something close to satiate my craving
