What is for lunch today?
Me- roast beef, and turkey on a roll w/ lettuce and a little bit of mayo with Munchos chips on the side. ( I never eat them , but they were calling my name this morning!) ETA- a vitamin water zero- mixed berry.

I'm gonna eat when I go home. It's a toss up between a peanut butter sandwich or a knish. I'll see what I'm in the mood for. Not very happy with either choice but I can't justify eating out when we have food in the house

I just placed an order from the deli. Genoa salami and alpine lace swiss on a roll with tomato and mustard. I'm starving even though I had breakfast!!

I always feel this way. I never like my choices, but there is always something to eat at home. And I can never justify eating out when I HATE throwing food out. I always make sure all the food we buy gets eaten, so that falls on me during lunch time.

I actually have a vent about my lunch choice today...
I went to the deli and asked for a grilled chicken ceasar salad wrap. The woman said "those are in the case" (meaning pre-made). So I said "I'd like the have the chicken warmed up though". To which she responded "Ok, grab one and I'll throw it in the microwave" I told her I'd rather not do that since I don't want the wrap to get all gummy, plus the lettuce would get wilted in the microwave. I then told her if it couldn't be done, no problem I'd order something else. And she huffed and puffed and then said she'd have to see if they could do that.
Am I the only one that asks for this? This woman acted like I was asking for too much. I'm just not a big fan of cold chicken.

No I can't stand service like that... she should have just let you choose something else if she didn't want to be bothered...

I had half a cup of 4 bean salad, a glass of sweet tea and slice of cheese before running up to the school at noon!
